The two-year-old class, Sunflowers, is having an exciting time learning about farm animals. The children are working on identifying each animal by sight and sound, practicing their animal noises with lots of giggles! They have been engaged in various activities such as sensory play, including ducks swimming in the pond, pigs eating, and milking cows. We even made purple milk (blueberry milkshake).

The children created pig masks with curly tails and made playdough chickens with feathers and pumpkin seeds for beaks. We also sang songs like "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and "Five Little Ducks." The kids enjoyed acting out animal movements, from galloping like horses to waddling like ducks.

So far, we have read the stories "The Three Little Pigs," "The Three Billy Goats Gruff," and "Grandpa's Farm." The fun will continue as we keep learning about more farm animals in the coming days!
