Exploring Our Community Helpers in the Tulips class

This week our Tulips have been exploring the important roles that community helpers play in our lives. We’ve had a lot of fun learning about firefighters, police officers, construction workers, and more through a variety of hands-on activities. From building roads with blocks like construction workers to role-playing as police officers and firefighters, our students have been actively engaged in learning how these helpers keep our community safe and running smoothly.

We were also lucky to have a special visit from our fantastic school doctor, Dr. Valbona. She brought along some of the equipment she uses to help sick children, such as a stethoscope and thermometer. The children had a great time learning how doctors use these tools to take care of us.
