3YO: Itsy Bitsy Marigolds

This week at Little Marigolds was full of excitement as we explored the world of critters!

We went on a nature walk around the school in search of itsy-bitsy spiders living in our spouts. When we found one, we gently observed him through our magnifying glass before carefully returning him to his home.

Along the way, we also discovered a big ant nest! We were amazed by how busy and hardworking the ants were. This led us to read the book Hey, Little Ant, where we learned that even the tiniest creatures have feelings and deserve kindness.

To wrap up our week, we explored the butterfly life cycle. We were fascinated by the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly—and now many of us dream of traveling to Mexico one day to see the magnificent monarch butterfly families in their natural home!
