4YO: Caring, Kindness, and Community in Action

Over the past few weeks, the Dandelion class has explored pets, friends, and community helpers! Through hands-on activities, the children have learned about different types of pets and how to care for them, discovered roles within our communities, and discussed ways to demonstrate kindness and friendship. 

Throughout this unit, the children have pretended to be veterinarians and firefighters working to help their communities. They have created cards for our school community and delivered them as pretend members of the Dandelion Postal Team. Students have played games to practice number, shape, and letter recognition. The children are learning many skills through play!
