4YO: Daisy Town and Much More!

Over the past few weeks, the 4-year-old Daisy class has been learning about things that move, including how the wind moves objects and roads connect us to where we need to go. As part of this exploration, the children made their own 'Daisy Town', drawing their houses and connecting them with a road as well as made paper jets and spent time testing how they flew.

With the change in seasons, we took a short Spring Walk around the campus. The children had the chance to observe bugs, flowers, birds, and other signs of Spring, noticing the changes in their surroundings. We have opened our outdoor classroom offering a free flow from the indoors to the outside while we enjoy this crisp Spring weather.

The Daisies also took part in Spirit Week, where one of the days the children came dressed as their favorite book characters. It was a nice opportunity for the group to share stories and engage in conversations about books they enjoy.
