4YO: Thriving Daisy Class
Our four-year-old Daisy class has been diving into the beauty of the autumn/fall season! During our Fall Unit, the children have loved collecting seasonal treasures—like leaves and acorns—and creating vibrant collages. It has been a wonderful way to connect with nature and express their creativity.
A recent highlight was our field trip to AirTurbina, where we enjoyed the interactive +Erba show, which inspired the kids and left them buzzing with excitement! In line with our commitment to kindness and inclusivity, everyone wore blue in recognition of Anti-Bullying Day. This important day reminded us of the value of friendship and empathy in our classroom community.
The Daisy students have also been exploring emotions, learning to identify and express various feelings in healthy ways. To support this, they painted colorful "emotion monsters" on our glass doors, symbolizing the many emotions we all experience.
We love it when friends bring things class that spark discussions and learning, and recently one of our classmates brought some honey from her grandfather's apiary in Hungary which ignited interest into how honey is made and why bees are important.
Alongside these activities, our students continue to thrive in their essential classes and especially enjoy their time spent in the forest. Each day brings new adventures, skills, and joy as we explore together!
