4YO: What Have the Daisy's Been up to?

4YO: What Have the Daisy's Been up to?

As the school year winds down, the 4-year-old Daisy class has been buzzing with excitement, pride, and just a touch of bittersweet emotion. With many changes on the horizon, our young learners are showing incredible resilience and leadership as they prepare to take the next step in their learning journey.

We recently took on a very important job: creating props for our much-anticipated Summer Sing-Along! With paint, glue, and a whole lot of teamwork, the Daisy class brought the event to life together with the other preschool classes. When the big day arrived, we sang with joy and confidence with our parents and families. The day ended with a few heartfelt tears as we said goodbye to our lovely Ms. Jennie. Her warmth and care have left a lasting mark on our hearts, and she will be dearly missed, but we are holding her to many visits in the future.

Looking ahead, the children have begun getting to know what life will be like as 5-year-olds. We took a special walk upstairs to visit the older classrooms, meet the teachers, and ask lots of curious questions. The children were eager and observant, already imagining themselves in their new spaces. We’re also exploring the other playgrounds we’ll be using next year and learning how to navigate these new environments with confidence.

Even with all the upcoming changes, our Daisy students have been incredible role models. They’ve taken great pride in helping to keep our school beautiful by picking up trash and making sure our shared spaces stay clean and welcoming. Their sense of responsibility and care for the environment is truly inspiring.

As we near the end of the year, we couldn’t be prouder of how the Daisy class is embracing change with open hearts and a strong sense of community. The future is bright, and these Daisies are ready to bloom!
