6YO: How Popsicles Sparked Our ‘How-To’ Writing Journey

Students in 6MW have been learning about procedural "how to" writing.  Our awesome librarian, Ms. Irida, suggested a book about the true story of how popsicles were invented.  The students loved learning the history of popsicles and were inspired to draft their own "how to make popsicles" piece of writing.  Naturally, the students wanted to try making popsicles using their written pieces.  Thank you Ms. Irida for the inspiration!
