6YO: Yes or No? Communicating with Sound and Light

The students in 6MW are hard at work in science class building a communication device.  After learning about different ways to communicate with sound and light, the students were challenged to build a device that could give a yes/no answer from across the room using only sound or light.  After brainstorming their idea and creating a list of materials, the students visited the Innovation Lab to gather materials and begin the building process.  The students are demonstrating that they are 21^st century learners with their creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.
