7YO: A Knot‑able Achievement: Every Student Succeeds!

It all started out to help our class with a nagging problem. It seemed like most of the students did not know how to tie their shoes. So instead of asking for help, they went around with loose laces.

It then turned into the ultimate challenge. Could the whole class learn to tie their shoes? Two pairs of outgrown shoes were brought in. “How to” cards were printed off. Then after 3 weeks of frustration, peer tutoring and practice – everyone succeeded!

The student’s reward – a popcorn party. The teacher’s reward – watching students succeed! Success for all.
