7YO: It's Market Place Day!

Students Turn Entrepreneurs in Classroom Marketplace

In an exciting classroom venture, students in Ms. Ona and Ms. Paula's 7 YO Cultural Studies class embraced entrepreneurship by setting up their own marketplaces. This project, part of their study on communities, allowed students to explore the concepts of goods, services, and financial decision-making. From selling handcrafted items to offering unique services, students experienced the thrill of earning "money" and making spending choices. After the fall break, they will reflect on their business successes and areas for improvement. This hands-on project not only deepened their understanding of economic principles but also fostered creativity and collaboration among classmates.
