7YO: Mathematicians

7YO Mathematicians

7YO OL has started the measurement unit in mathematics. Students are Measurement Detectives whose job is to figure out how big or small things are. 

Learners in our classroom are busy exploring different units, measuring accurately with tools, and refining their estimation skills. Students will practice measuring real world objects within our classroom and beyond during the course of this unit. They will use and convert between inches, feet, and yards as well as standard metric units. Measurement is like having a superpower to help us understand the world!
