7YO: The New Year is Off to a Great Start!

The new year has gotten off to a great start in Mr. Stant's 7YO class!  The students have been working hard on their units since returning from winter break.  In literacy, they have been writing interesting narrative paragraphs and exciting fictional stories.  In math, the students are using manipulatives and models to learn strategies for adding and subtracting numbers up to 1000.  In cultural studies, the students are planning an environmental conservation project.  In our weekly Empower lessons, the kids have been learning about the importance of working together and being inclusive.  The future looks bright for these curious kiddos!
