8YO: Curious about how to care for chickens, make sushi, or draw a snowman?
Curious about how to care for chickens, make sushi, or draw a snowman? The 8-year-olds are eager to show you how! Recently, students in the 8s have been channeling their creativity and skills into crafting 'How-To' essays during Literacy. Meanwhile, in Cultural Studies, they’ve been exploring the evolution of the United States through the lens of push and pull factors, using real-life immigration stories to deepen their understanding. The learning didn’t stop there—students took their curiosity beyond the classroom by designing and conducting surveys on topics ranging from favorite pizza toppings to future career aspirations as part of their Math studies. They then analyzed the collected data, representing it through various visual formats and drawing meaningful conclusions from their findings.
