8YO: Inspired by the Yukon: 8‑Year‑Olds Create Ted Harrison–Style Art

Our eight year olds have been studying the work of Ted Harrison, a Canadian painter known for his vivid, boldly colored Yukon landscapes. Bringing real aesthetic appreciation to the project, students have sketched and planned their own original scenes featuring mountains, forests, northern skies, and open tundra. Over the coming weeks they’ll continue the process through to finished paintings.
