8YO: Movement and Migration

8 Year Olds have recently finished up their Cultural Studies unit on Movement and Migration. This ended with a final project challenging them to explain why multicultural environments were good for us. Students presented in many formats such as a photo journal of our TIS Community, short stories about the benefits of being part of a multicultural community, and a presentation about how multiculturalism leads to more productive discussions and less bullying. Students were very proud to present their work and excited to recognize that they are part of a wonderful multicultural community here at TIS.
