8YO: Poetry Slam

Recently, the 8-year-olds have been diving into the world of poetry — reading works from a variety of authors and crafting their own poetry collections. We wrapped up the unit with a Poetry Slam, where each student had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and hard work.

Meanwhile in science, the students have been studying all things weather — identifying different types of clouds, predicting storms, and analyzing weather patterns across a range of climates around the world. Just last week, they put their engineering skills to the test by designing houses capable of withstanding hazardous weather conditions.
