9YO: Animal Research Projects

Excitement is in the air as students put their final touches on their cross-curricular projects that blend science, literacy, technology, and art. They have been working diligently on 3-D animal research projects, and the results have been outstanding. Students have thoroughly researched their chosen animals, paraphrased information, written first drafts, and made significant improvements in subsequent drafts. We are now approaching the presentation phase and final grading for the second of two units focused on research in both literacy and science.

Additionally, we have teamed up with Ms. Entela and Ms. Eda to make this a truly collaborative and enriching experience for the students. We look forward to hopefully having the students present their beautiful research projects at the upcoming parent-teacher conferences!
