9YO: No Paper, No Problem: Nine-Year-Olds Summarize Stories with Style

Over the last week, the nine-year-olds have started collaborating in book clubs. This session of book clubs focuses on reading books from the author Roald Dahl. Students are boosting their creativity by reading these fun and imaginative narratives to help enhance their writing of their own personal narratives during this unit. They’re taking a creative spin on summarizing chapters by writing their clear, concise summaries right on their desks with markers—no paper or pencil needed!
