ELEM: Hands-On Letter Learning in 6YOs

Our 6-year-old students have been using hands-on activities to review letter formation and strengthen important fine motor skills. Using playdough, students practiced creating both uppercase and lowercase letters while reviewing skills they learned last year.

Working with playdough is not only fun, but it also helps young learners strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers that are important for writing. The students enjoyed rolling, shaping, and forming letters as they practiced proper letter formation in a creative and engaging way!
