On the Job

Introductory Intensive English students have started their new unit On the Job. They are reading various books about jobs people in our community do, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, firefighters, dentist, police officers, builders, bus drivers etc. They are learning about the importance of each job, how does it help our community, which are some of the responsibilities, where do these people work and what do they wear.

In the coming weeks, after exploring a variety of jobs students will research in more details some selected jobs and write their own Fact Book of Community Helpers. Also, they will write about their future job and explain what they will do and why. Let's see what they will become!
