ELEM/MS: Music Class with Ms. Rich

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year at Tirana International School.  I’m excited to teach music to the TIS students and build lifelong advocates of the arts.  Music is a beautiful art that is a common language for everyone, and everyone will have the opportunity to explore and experience the joy that music can bring to their life.

My name is Leslie Rich, and I will be teaching all general music courses to from ages five to ten and will also be guiding our middle school students as we explore and implement the music offerings available. I received my bachelor’s in music education from Kansas State University, and my master’s in music performance from Western Michigan University.  This school year will be my fifth year at TIS, twelfth with Quality Schools International, and twenty-ninth as a music educator.  I hope to see all of you throughout the school year and look forward to seeing you at our first school performances in December. The first concert dates for my music classes are listed below.  

• 4 December - MS Music performances

• 10 December - 9yo and 10yo performance

• 11 December - 7yo and 8yo performance

• 12 December - 5yo and 6yo performance
