Message from Mr. Mudd 6/17

Another year to remember!  It's amazing how fast they all go!  This year, TIS celebrated its 30th year in Tirana.  Of course a lot has changed since those beginning years, but I can't help but think the school just keeps getting better and better!

Honestly, TIS couldn't be what it is without the support and excellence from a number of team players: students, staff, teachers, age-level administrators, counselors, classroom support, parents, student groups, office staff, maintenance, cleaning, drivers, security team, community members, PSG parent team, and QSI support.  It is truly a team effort and I am honored to be a part of this team.  You all make it worth it.

After dismissal today, the teachers gathered together under the covered court to share a meal together.  We said special "see you laters" to our departing staff and enjoyed reflecting on the year.  A big thank you to any parents that helped provide a sweet treat for the staff after school today.  They were very appreciative.

Another reminder, as part of a transient community, we know that a number of families will be moving on to other locations or moving back to their home country. We thank you for allowing TIS to be part of your child's education - all of you will forever be a TIS Tiger. We wish each of you health and happiness in your next adventures. If you are a family not returning to TIS for the upcoming school year and you would like to have school records signed and stamped at the end of the school year, please contact Egla Lila at elga-lila@tirana.qsi.org She will prepare the necessary school records for your departure.

Thank you again for a great year!  Please, enjoy your summer holiday and we look forward to welcoming you back in August!
