"Fall Into Reading" - Month of November

As part of our "Fall into Reading" month, we are excited to kick off our annual "Book to Movie" challenge! Students who read one of the preselected books throughout November and answer the questions on the bookmark will be invited to a special party in early December, where we’ll enjoy snacks and watch the movie adaptation of the book they read. Middle School and Secondary students have two books to choose from, allowing them to pick the story that appeals to them the most.

I will passed bookmarks for the students to use during 4th block today (Friday, 8 November), ensuring you have everything you need to participate. Thank you for all who participate in this challenge!

Arrival/Dismissal:

We are still seeing many students arriving after 8:00am in the morning. I will be sending emails home after break to those who have multiple tardies to school or multiple absences.

Please work with us to get your students to school by 7:50 so they have time to arrive to class prior to 8:00am. Thank you! 

Dismissal is at 3:20pm daily (unless you are informed otherwise). 

If your student rides the bus and the bus arrives late, your student will not be counted tardy.

For ASAs:

If you student rides the bus, they will be put on a late bus for ASAs. If you student is not a bus rider, but needs a late bus home from ASAs, please contact Blerta Sadiku at blerta-sadiku@tirana.qsi.org.
