Good afternoon,

Tomorrow night is Prom, and I hope all of our students have a wonderful and memorable evening together.

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, it is important for students to complete and submit any remaining work needed to close their units by June 12. This will allow teachers time on the 15th and 16th to finalize grading and enter status report information. June 12 is also TIS’ graduation, and I am especially looking forward to seeing my first class here graduate. Congratulations to all of our seniors for their hard work and dedication.

Students who earned E’s in all seven Success Orientations will be recognized with a special field trip on June 15. Invitations and additional details will be sent through SchoolsBuddy.

On Wednesday the 17th, students will participate in a morning field day, followed by an afternoon of cleaning out lockers, returning books and school-issued electronics, and signing yearbooks. On Thursday the 18th, secondary students will attend a waterpark field trip, and permission forms for this event will be sent home soon.

Our last day of school is Friday the 19th, which will be a half day. We will have an awards ceremony on that day.
