Message from Mrs. Holmquist 5/15

As we approach the final weeks of the school year, please take note of several upcoming events and important dates for secondary students and families.

On May 22, families are invited to stop by the multi‑purpose room from 2:00–3:00 on the same day as the International Fair to view AP Research projects. Secondary Week Without Walls will take place May 25–29, with international trips to London, Portugal, Montenegro, and Greece. For students remaining in Tirana, daily local trips will be offered, and teachers will be on campus to support students who have outstanding units and may need time for unit recovery. More information about local trips will be shared soon.

Looking ahead, please mark your calendars for the TIS athletics and activities banquet on June 1 and the secondary Prom on June 6. Graduation ceremony information was sent this week to families of Secondary 4 students; if you did not receive the email, please contact Mrs. Rech or Mrs. Holmquist. Grades are due June 15, and during the final week of school, students will participate in social activities to close out the year in a positive and celebratory way. Best of luck to all students finishing their AP and IB exams—stay the course.
