Secondary News & Reminders

As we head into Fall Break, we want to share a few important reminders and updates for our secondary families.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
After Fall Break, we’ll be holding our Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 22, and Wednesday, October 29. These meetings are a great opportunity to check in on student progress and set goals for the rest of the semester. Please be sure to sign up through SchoolsBuddy to secure your preferred times. Conference slots tend to fill up quickly.

Exciting Student Events Ahead
Once we return from break, our students can look forward to some fun community events:

• Tailgating Soccer Event – Monday, October 20: Join us after school until 6:00 p.m. for food, games, and team spirit. (See flyer in the main part of the newsletter for details.)

• Spirit Week & Costume Day: Celebrate school spirit with themed dress-up days leading up to Costume Day on October 31. (See flyer for more information.)

Academic Focus
The weeks between Fall Break and Winter Break will be a busy and important stretch academically. By the time we reach Winter Break, students should have completed four units in each of their courses, so this is a great time to help them stay focused, organized, and balanced.

We wish all our students and families a wonderful, restful Fall Break, and we’re excited for the learning and fun that await when we return.
