TIS Secondary Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our boys’ and girls’ CEESA football teams as they represent TIS and compete against other international schools in Sarajevo and Skopje. We are proud of their hard work and dedication—Go Tigers!

Cold & Flu Season Reminder

As we head into the colder months, please review TIS’ Sick Policy to help keep our community healthy. If your child is feeling unwell, we kindly ask that they stay home until symptoms have resolved. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

TIS Sick Policy for Students

  • Stay Home When Sick: Children should remain at home if they have fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious illness, or any symptoms that prevent full participation in school activities.
  • Return to School: Students may return after being symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication and cleared by a doctor if required.
  • Early Dismissal: If a child becomes ill during the school day, parents will be contacted for immediate pickup.
  • Medical Documentation: A doctor’s note may be required for extended absences or certain illnesses.
  • Health Office Contact: Room 221, phone extension 221, mobile +355 674468632.

Parent Portal Update

We are still working to gain access to the QMS Parent Portal. In the meantime, to keep you informed, we will begin emailing weekly status reports every Friday.
If you need to update the email address we have on file, please contact our front office as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Have a wonderful weekend!
