Message from Ms. Jennie 11/8
Dear Preschool Families,
Happy Friday!
Wow, this week was a busy one! Our preschool classes got to explore other floors of the school when they ventured up to the 4th floor for Buddy Cafe and the 5th floor for portrait day! As you can imagine, it was quite the hike for little legs, but nevertheless, very exciting 🤩.
The students seemed to thoroughly enjoy being read to during our Buddy Cafe, and the yummy treats that you sent in, dear parents, surely added to the enjoyment! A huge thank you to the PSG for the initiative and for decorating the cafeteria stage so beautifully ❤️. November is "Fall into Reading" month, and we are looking for mystery readers that can come in and read to homeroom classes. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you would like to come in and share a story with the class, I know it would be much appreciated by all. Let's all work together to foster a love for literacy!
Finally, this Wednesday concluded this round of parent-teacher conferences. Next round will take place in the spring and those conferences will be student-led. However, always feel free to contact us if there is something you would like to discuss.
Next week, the 4YO classes are participating in Dance for Kindness together with elementary students. They have been practicing the dance with Ms. Ortenca during P.E. and are ready to shake it in the name of kindness! Everyone is welcome to join this Sunday at the Italia Square at 2:00 pm. Here's a link to the dance tutorial if you wish to throw a dance party at home: https://youtu.be/D6IMbao7XtY.
I wish you a great weekend!
Warm regards,
Jennie Fredriksson
