Message from Ms. Jennie 12/13
Dear Preschool Families,
Happy final Friday of the year!
What a wonderfully festive week it has been! We have seen amazing hair, accessories, outfits and PJs, all adding to the excitement of what's to come: Winter Break ❄️ ⛄️.
Many preschool students enjoyed popcorn and the movie "Stick Man" during our book-movie event this Wednesday. Thank you to the PSG for organizing and to the parent volunteers that helped out! ♥️ A lovely observation that the teachers and I have made, is that the book really made an impact and "stuck" with the students, as multiple references have been made throughout the week to the story. We found lots of "Stick Men", "Children Three" and "Stick Lady Loves" in the forest! Even a "Stuck Man" was humorously spotted in the bushes!
During the first week of break, you will be receiving the first Progress Report for your preschooler. These are completed by your child's homeroom teacher after each term and provide a glimpse of their development at school. Students are assessed and given an S (Satisfactory), P (Progressing), or NY (Not Yet) in different areas. Please bear in mind that our young students will have plenty of opportunities to master these skills for years to come, and that everyone grows and blooms at their own pace. If you have any questions regarding your child's report, their homeroom teacher will be happy to answer them when they come back from winter break.
I wish you a lovely break and Happy Holidays! Thank you for your support this year, and next 💙.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2025 on January 6th🎉
Warm regards,
Jennie Fredriksson
