Message from Ms. Jennie 4/11

Dear Preschool Families, 

Happy Friday!

This week has been busy with discussions of things that go, wheels, maps, and rainbows! 🌈 It has been fabulous! 

On Monday, the whole preschool got a sneak peak of the 10YO performance "Mission Implausible". Our older peers put on a great performance that had our preschool students mesmerized 🤩. The teachers and I were all very impressed at the younger students' ability to sit and sustain attention for 25 minutes. Well done to the performers and audience alike! 

Next week will be even busier, with the school-wide fundraising marathon and preschool bake sale. The preschool classes will partake in one lap as a class, then go and cheer people on from the playgrounds. Parents are very welcome to join and take their child on laps together with them. However, this needs to be communicated to their homeroom teachers so that we know the whereabouts of each child. In addition, we ask that parents do not drop their child off at class again with baked goods; kindly eat these prior to going back to school. Thank you! 

This month, we are celebrating Literacy Month! 📚 To help spruce up your home libraries and foster a love for reading, we will have a Book Exchange. Your child can donate gently used books, and for each book they bring in, they will receive a ticket. At the end of the month, these tickets can be used to get new books to take home! We encourage families to look through their bookshelves and help their child choose books they are ready to pass along so they can join in this fun and rewarding experience!

I look forward to seeing many of you next Thursday to raise money for a great cause!
