Message from Ms. Jennie 6/13
Dear Preschool Families,
Happy Friday!
Wow- what a week! We started off with our splendid Summer Sing-along.🏖️ The preschool students gave it their all, and it looked like they had a lovely time! We hope that you did too, dear parents. Thank you for coming, joining in, and bringing treats for the party. We appreciate your participation. ❤️
To escape the heat this week, we sought out shaded spots on campus and often ventured to the "little" forest, which provided some much-needed refuge from the sun. Trees were climbed, big rocks were maneuvered, sticks were gathered, and much fun was had! We have also been busy caring for the garden that our older peers have planted. It brings me so much joy to see our students appreciating and cherishing nature.
One of the 3-year-old classes visited Ms. Carmen's Daisy class for circle time to get a sense of what next year will bring and experienced an interesting show-and-tell session! The 4YO students really took their job of showing what they do seriously, and the 3YO student watched in awe! It was a wonderful visit!
Another exciting visit was had by the other 4-year-old class, who had a parent volunteer come in to demonstrate how to make a mosaic. The students (and teachers!) were very impressed by the assortment of beautiful pieces brought in, which they could choose freely from to make their very own creations. Creativity at its finest!
We look forward to one more week of school!
I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Warm regards,
Jennie Fredriksson
