Hello, Wonderful TIS Families!

Can you believe it? May is flying by, and we still have five more weeks left of the school year! There’s so much excitement ahead, and we’re ready to finish strong!

A HUGE thank you to our fantastic students and PSG volunteers for all their hard work in getting the Country Information Posters ready for International Night next Friday, May 23rd. We can’t wait to see all the amazing displays, taste the delicious cuisine, and celebrate the diversity of our school community. It's going to be an unforgettable evening!

In addition, many of our classes have kicked off their ABC Countdown with fun activities! It’s been so much fun seeing all the stuffed animals around, and we know several classes are looking forward to blowing bubbles or sharing a favorite book during their Zoom call on Friday. We can't wait to see the many more creative activities our teachers have planned in the coming weeks.

Speaking of exciting events, the 5-year-old class had a wonderful field trip earlier this week! They visited a local pottery studio at the Pottery Studio. The students had the opportunity to learn how to use a potter’s wheel and then explored the nearby wetland habitat around the lake. They even had the chance to compare what they saw in the environment with drawings! This hands-on experience ties perfectly with their writing curriculum, where they are learning to identify similarities and differences—what a fun way to bring learning to life!

It’s going to be a wonderful final stretch—let’s finish the year with lots of fun and learning!
