Hello, Wonderful TIS Families!

Wow—what an incredible, jam-packed week of exploration, creativity, and celebration! From exciting field trips to joyful showcases, our students gave their all and made lasting memories. Here's a peek at all the magic that happened:

🎨🎭 Elementary Showcases (Ages 5–10)

Our students absolutely shone in this week’s showcases! Families and staff were treated to:

• 🎭 Drama performances full of imagination and confidence

• 🎤 Singing that lifted spirits

• 🎻 Violin recitals that amazed and inspired

• 🖼️ Art displays brimming with color and creativity

• 🏫 Classroom projects highlighting a year of curiosity and growth

Thank you to our dedicated teachers and supportive families for helping bring these moments to life. It was truly a celebration of learning and talent!

🚂 5-Year-Old Field Trip

On Wednesday, June 11, our youngest explorers headed to Grand Park and the Train Ride for a playful and meaningful adventure!

• Students engaged with science concepts like force & motion, animal habitats, and plant life

• A peaceful train ride, time in nature, and lots of laughter marked the perfect end-of-year outing

• This trip also tied in beautifully with our Success Orientations, reinforcing kindness, curiosity, and responsibility

🏰 10-Year-Old Overnight Field Trip

From June 11–13, our oldest elementary students took part in a cultural and community-centered journey across Albania!

June 11 – Tirana:

• A powerful visit to the House of Leaves Museum

• A vibrant, hands-on experience at the Albanian Night Center, including traditional costumes, folk music, and cultural exhibits

June 12 – Berat to Zvernec:

• A deep dive into history with a tour of Berat Castle and Onufri Museum

• An afternoon at the Ecuador Resort for team building, beach fun, and a cozy bonfire night

June 13 – Zvernec Return:

• Beach games and group bonding

• Reflections and farewells as they close the elementary chapter together

This trip beautifully embodied their goals in Experiential Learning and Cultural Studies, and we are all so proud of how our students represented our community!

🔴 Thursday, June 19 – Field Day!

A day full of energy, teamwork, and sunshine! Don’t forget to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, or you can just wear your swimsuit. Bring a towel and please apply sunscreen before school. Get ready for a lot of games and plenty of fun to close out the year together!

🕐 Friday, June 20 – Half Day

We'll finish the week and the year with a half day of celebration, goodbyes, and gratitude. Dismissal is at 11:20 PM.
