Message from Ms. Meredith 9/13
Dear TIS Families,
As we wrap up another fantastic week, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the incredible learning taking place in our school. It's been wonderful to see our teachers deeply engaged and our students excited and happy as they dive into their studies. The energy and enthusiasm in our classrooms are truly inspiring!
Looking ahead, we are gearing up for our Fall MAP testing, which is an important part of our assessment process. MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing helps us track student progress and tailor our instruction to better support each child's growth.
MAP Testing Schedule:
- Fall Testing: September 16 - October 25, 2024 (6-week window following about 4 weeks of instruction)
- Winter Testing: January 13 - February 14, 2025 (5-week window following about 20 weeks of instruction)
- Spring Testing: April 14 - May 23, 2025 (6-week window following about 32 weeks of instruction)
All elementary students in grades 5-10 will participate in testing for Math, Reading, and/or Language Usage. The first week for testing opens next week. Please be on the lookout for detailed information from your child's teacher about their specific testing days.
Your child's classroom teacher will notify you on Seesaw with further details on when to expect your child to test.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to ensure a successful and engaging learning experience for all our students.
