MS: CEESA Strings 2025

Recently, our TIS MS Strings students traveled to Riga, Latvia for the 2025 CEESA Band and Strings Festival over the weekend. 

Middle school students from AAS Sofia, IS Prague, AIS Budapest, and TIS came together for 3 days to collaborate in music and fellowship. 

Our amazing students rehearsed multiple songs over 2 days which led to a combined Band and Strings concert on Saturday. The students enjoyed getting to show off their playing skills to the other students as well as the ISL school community. 

We also were able to take a guided tour with a local Latvian resident, Zane.  She was able to show us all of the great sights of Old Town Riga even through the cold and light snow that accompanied us along the way. Our TIS students were very receptive to all of her knowledge and learned about all of the great little things in and around the great city of Riga. 

Overall, we had a great time and experience, and we are looking forward to next year's CEESA Music and Strings Festival.
