MS: Ethos, Pathos, and Logos

The 11yo Literacy Students in Mr. Wood's classroom learned about ethos, pathos, and logos by viewing engaging advertisements and analyzing examples of persuasive paragraphs. They have identified a persuasive topic of interest to them and are completing their brainstorm and beginning a persuasive essay rough draft. One requirement is to use some research to support one or more of their main ideas. They are working on crafting their words and evidence in a way that is clear, organized, and persuasive to the audience they are writing to.
