MS: Expressions, Variables, and Games: Math Made Engaging

The 12-year-old mathematics students are exploring how to use variables to represent real-life situations and how to work with expressions—expanding, factoring, adding, and subtracting them. These skills lay the groundwork for future success in Algebra. To make learning engaging, students are playing math games that encourage creative thinking as they manipulate numbers to form different equations. They then share their solutions with classmates, helping everyone deepen their understanding of mathematical operations in a collaborative way.
