MS: Math in Action: Budgeting, Decimals, and Dream Vacations!

In 11-year-old math, students have been working on strengthening their skills in a variety of ways. Throughout the week, they practiced important concepts like adding, subtracting, and multiplying decimals through different tasks and challenges. One highlight was planning a vacation with a $1000 budget, where students made thoughtful choices about travel, hotels, and daily spending. They carefully calculated their costs and worked to make sure their plans stayed within budget. It has been great to see students building confidence and applying their skills in meaningful and thoughtful ways.
