SEC: A Strong Start to AP World History

Students in AP World History were working this week on learning the foundations of the class as we start off our journey together. Considering that we need to cover content from the years 1200 to the present day, we chunk the topics into conceptual lenses such as "Technology and Innovation," "Political Structures", "Humans and the Environment", etc. and then approach the material from these perspectives. We also finished off the week learning some effective tools to help us better interpret perspectives and tested them on modern primary sources. It was a positive start to the class and felt great to start building some momentum as we take on this difficult and broad task of learning about our world!
