SEC: Geometryland

SEC: Geometryland

This week in Geometry, our students delved into Polygonal Modeling and Transformations, blending creativity and precision.
It's been a joy watching their designs come to life on coordinate planes, showcasing how math lays the groundwork for real-world animation and design.

Some standout projects truly stole the show! For instance, Zamzam and Leo created Boxy, a daring little square navigating challenges
in a colorful world called Geometryland. Their intricate calculations and imaginative narrative made the project both mathematically sound and highly engaging.

Meanwhile, Emma and Alegra launched their Rocket Animation, a meticulous depiction of a rocket's ascent into space.
Their detailed transformations demonstrated the power of math in capturing motion, from the initial liftoff to the serene glide into the stars.

In another creative leap, Emiliano and Matias designed a dramatic Car Over a Ramp animation, blending physics and geometry to show a daring stunt in midair.
Their storyline kept us all on the edge of our seats.

These projects, and many others, emphasized how math is not just numbers and formulas—it's a tool to create, tell stories, and understand the world.
The students embraced challenges with curiosity and determination, proving that learning is as much about persistence as it is about precision.

As we move forward, we’ll continue exploring the intersection of math, art, and technology. Please feel free view these projects by clicking the link below.
