SEC: Ms. Lisa's Literature II

Students in Ms. Lisa's Literature II class recently read and analyzed George Orwell's defining example of dystopian fiction which envisions a future where society is in decline. It is a cautionary tale of a totalitarian government exercising control over society through the use of language manipulation and threat.

Secondary II students wrote about the conflicts in the novel citing textual evidence to support their arguments. They also created storyboards for integral scenes that illustrated the motivations of the characters in the novel. Each storyboard included a literary reflection of the illustrations and scene.
