SEC: Official Performance Tasks Submitted to AP!
Students in AP Seminar completed, presented and submitted their official Performance Tasks to the AP! These tasks were worth 55% of their final grade from AP and they worked hard throughout the year in developing the skills necessary to effectively research, investigate, collaborate and provide strong peer feedback, and then transmit their findings into argumentative reports and presentations. This year, the students had to investigate topics related to the theme as determined by AP of "Nostalgia." We had students investigate a range of topics such as the effects of nostalgia on viewership and the economics of football, the viability of nostalgia-based memory therapies in Alzheimer patients, and even the economic potential in nostalgia-based city-planning (among many other investigations!). Next week is the exam for AP Seminar where the other 45% of their grade will be determined. Good luck, AP Seminar students!
