SEC: TEDx TIS - TED Talks on the Terrace

Secondary II students analyzed an engaging 2015 commencement speech, called "Make Your Bed," by Adm. William McRaven, in October's Literature unit on rhetoric. Then they took to their laptops to craft their own speeches based on his structure for their Writing unit on speeches. The speeches turned out so well, students wanted to share them, so Ms. Lisa came up with the idea of promoting them as "TEDx TIS: TED Talks on the Terrace." Students will be giving the talks throughout November on the 5th floor at lunch time.
