US History Students with Mr. Shehu

In recent lessons, students have outlined ideals from the Mayflower Compact, Puritan teachings, and the Declaration of Independence that shaped the American character. They have evaluated the shift from confederacy to federation and explored enlightened principles in the US Constitution, as well as the lasting impact of the Gettysburg Address and Emancipation Proclamation. Additionally, students have examined key historical movements that have influenced the evolving American character. Currently, they are studying why early Europeans immigrated to the US, including the push and pull factors of immigration. Way to go!
