Syvota Adventure Trip 2026

From 25–29 May, High School students participated in an unforgettable adventure trip to Syvota, Greece. The trip was far more than an adventure, it was an opportunity for students to step away from their daily routines, immerse themselves in nature, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories.

The adventure began with students settling into Karavostasi Beach Hotel and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The following day, they embarked on an exciting sea kayaking expedition along the coastline, paddling together to Prapa Mali Beach. The activity challenged them to work as a team, communicate effectively, and support one another while taking in the stunning scenery of the Ionian Sea. The afternoon was spent relaxing at the beach and trying SUP, providing both fun and opportunities to build confidence in the water.

The next day featured a scenic hike from Tzara Village to Morfati Village, including visits to a chapel and cave along the route. Students demonstrated perseverance and teamwork while hiking through the countryside. Later, they visited the ancient Necromanteion of Acheron, where they learned about the rich history and mythology of the region.

Another highlight of the trip was a boat excursion to the famous Pisina Beach and nearby sea caves. Students had the opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the coastline before visiting the charming village of Parga, where they explored its narrow streets and experienced the local atmosphere. In the evening, everyone gathered around a campfire by the beach, singing, laughing, and creating memories.

Beyond the organized activities, the trip provided invaluable opportunities for students to connect with one another. Sharing meals, spending evenings together, and experiencing new challenges as a group helped strengthen friendships and create a strong sense of community. Most importantly, the trip allowed students to slow down, appreciate the beauty and tranquility of nature, and enjoy meaningful experiences outside the classroom.

It was a truly rewarding journey filled with adventure, laughter, friendship, and personal growth. The memories created and the bonds strengthened during these five days will remain with students long after the trip has ended.
