IB Diploma Programme

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a college-preparatory program recognized worldwide that is focused on developing well-rounded students who will be leaders in our global society. To accomplish this goal, the IB curriculum is inquiry-based and allows students to pursue in-depth studies in areas of interest to them. Admissions Criteria

Entry Requirements for the full IB Diploma Programme

Any student who has completed the following courses from Secondary I and Secondary II is eligible to pursue an IB diploma during Secondary III and Secondary IV:

Literature I (10 units)

Writing I (10 units)

Literature II (10 units)

Writing II (10 units)

Technology (10 units)

Algebra (10 units)

Geometry (10 units)

Physical Science (10 units)

Biology (10 units)

World Geography (10 units)

Modern World History or AP World History (10 units)

Wellness (10 units)*

P.E. Sports (10 units)*

Fine Arts- Art, Music, Drama (10 units)*

Languages other than English (20 units)**

*If not previously mastered, these units must be completed concurrent with IB coursework in order for students to graduate.

** This can be completed during Secondary III and IV school year with Language B.
